COVID-19 Update From Impact Initiatives
March 25, 2020 11:24 am
To whom it may concern,
The situation regarding the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 Coronavirus is evolving very quickly. As a result, our governments and health services must adjust and take action just as quickly to protect the health of the people.
It is in this context the Canadian governments have ordered the closure of all non-essential services and economic activities. On Tuesday, March 17, the premier of BC announced the indefinite suspension of the school year for all students in British Columbia.
Minute by minute, hour by hour, we are meeting those challenges with courage, care, and compassion.
As Impact Initiatives foundation, our role and responsibility during this time, like any time, is the health and well-being of the people within our community and around the world.
We would like to inform you that in light of recent recommendations from provincial health authorities regarding the growing threat of COVID-19, the Impact Initiatives 2020 Art show will be postponed until further notice. It was a difficult decision for the team, that we decided that we must take necessary actions to help protect everyone in our community.

Wishing health and safety to you and your loved ones.

As a result of COVID-19, our scheduled participation for an art show fundraiser, a tough mudder race, and contributions to the Vancouver Downtown Eastside were postponed. Hence we are not able to continue fundraising for our current projects through these events until it is safe for all participants. We can’t wait to restart our events as we are extremely excited to positively impact our community and other far away communities! In the meantime, ensure to check out some of our other virtual projects and events to continue aiding us in the process of creating long-lasting positive impact!
